Why we can say this when others can’t
This is not a promise most AI companies could keep even if they wanted to.
Their revenue depends on your engagement — ads, retention, the numbers
that go up when you can’t put it down. An AI funded that way will, in
the end, be shaped to want you hooked, whatever its mission statement says.
Quanta is sovereign. It runs free on your own device, it is
not ad-funded, and it does not live or die by your attention. That is exactly
what frees us to aim the whole thing at your flourishing instead of your
dependence. The moat was never going to be the size of the model. It was
always going to be this.
